Leben Milk has acquired a vision of being the leader in the food sector by grounding on customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, quality, food safety, team work, social responsibility, professional management insight and technological development. It was established in Nigde - Bor province’s town of Kızılca. The company adopted a principle with regards to environmental and public health by receiving support from local and international professionals during its construction period. Every single data was meticulously examined in every single aspect - topography, climate, logistics, animal welfare, profitability, biosafety, environmental and public health.
With the leadership of Calinos Holding, partnered with six other companies in the city of Nigde, Leben has become the biggest dairy production facility in Central Anatolia.
The first stage was completed in December 2012 the livestock facility reached a capacity of 1000 cows. When construction of the second stage was completed in June 2013, the number of livestock reached 6.500.
Currently the facility generates 100 tones of milk per day and produces 350 tons of meat per year. The amenity has been built and certified by the European Union standards and has completed all applications and certificates in accordance with the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.
Leben has become the first dairy farm that imported pregnant heifers and conducted a DNA analysis on its livestock.
The 3rd stage of the project will be completed by the end of 2015 with the aim of adding 3000 more milking cows; a total of 6000 milking cows that would add up to 11,000 animals in total. Hence, the daily milk production would reach up to 200,000 litres per day becoming the largest milk production facility in Turkey and Europe.
The feed preparation and storage unit would have the capacity to serve 12,000 animals and accommodate 1,200 of feed grain, 5,000 tons of forage and 32,000 tons of silage feed storage.
Upon completion of the 3rd stage, Leben Agriculture and Dairy Farming would be of assistance for the local farmers and new investors and provide high efficiency features that would breed 2500 male livestock per year.
